The Apple Watch will go on sale in a number of countries on the 24th of April and depending on the demand for their new smartwatch, the actual supply of the device could be limited at launch.
Apple will start taking pre-orders of their new Apple Watch on the 10th of April and according to a recent report, the company will ship three million units of the device in the first batch.
If the Apple Watch is as popular as some of Apple’s other devices, like the iPhone and iPad, then the 3 million units may not be enough to supply initial orders of the device.
It will be interesting to see how popular the Apple Watch is for the company and we suspect it may end up being a very popular device for Apple.
If I had to put money on it, then I would guess that the 3 million units in the first shipment of Apple’s new smartwatch will not be enough to satisfy the demand for the device, I guess we will find out when it launches next month.
