According to a recent report Apple’s wearables category has seen a boost in sales in the last quarter, this is thanks to devices like the Apple Watch, AirPods and also Beats headphones.
The news comes in a report from research firm IDC who have revealed that Apple shipped 29.5 million wearable devices in the third quarter of 2019.
This has increased significantly from 10 million devices in the same quarter of 2018, and Apple is till the top of wearable shipments for all of the manufacturers.
Apple captured the top position thanks to the growing popularity of the Apple Watch, AirPods, and Beats headphones. Looking ahead, the price reduction on the Series 3 Watch as well as the launch of AirPods Pro leaves Apple in a strong position to maintain dominance in this market for the short term.
Devices like apple’s AirPods have become very popular and with the recent release of the AirPods Pro they have become even more popular.
