The first generation Apple Watch was launched about 6 weeks ago, Apple also announced their new Watch OS 2 at WWDC 2015 last week and now we have some details on the Apple Watch 2.
Apple are apparently working on the new Apple Watch 2 and according to a recent report, the displays for the new Apple Watch will be made solely by LG Display.
According to a recent report, LG are the single supplier of displays for the current generation Apple Watch and the company is now working with Apple on the Apple Watch 2.
The Apple Watch 2 is rumored to be released in 2016, it is not clear as yet on what changes Apple will give the device over the current version. If Apple follows what it has done with the iPhone and iPad, then we would expect minor design tweak for the Apple Watch 2.
It will be interesting to see if the next generation Apple Watch is released in 2016 and whether Apple will release a new Apple Watch each year, especially considering the gold versions of the device, which some people have spent close to $17,000 on to own.
