Yesterday Apple released its earnings for its second fiscal quarter of 2015 and the company also revealed how many iPhone they sold.
Apple sold a total of 61.2 million iPhones in their latest financial quarter, this is up from 43.7 million iPhones for the same quarter in 2014.
Apple also announced that they had sold 4.56 Macs which was up form 4.1 million units on the same time last year.
iPad sales were down for the quarter to 12.6 million, in the same quarter last year Apple managed to sell a total of 16.5 million iPads.
“We are thrilled by the continued strength of iPhone, Mac and the App Store, which drove our best March quarter results ever,” said Tim Cook, Apple’s CEO. “We’re seeing a higher rate of people switching to iPhone than we’ve experienced in previous cycles, and we’re off to an exciting start to the June quarter with the launch of Apple Watch.”
Apple did not revealed how many units of their new Apple Watch they sold, it will be interesting top find out just how many of their new smartwatch they have sold.
