As well as releasing a new version of their Mac OS X Mountain Lion operating system today Apple has also released a new preview version of their OS X Mavericks operating system.
The new Apple OS X Mavericks operating system is currently still under development and is expected to be released later this year in the coming months.
OS X Mavericks is the tenth major release of OS X, Apple’s desktop and server operating system for Mac systems and brings with it a number of new feature that were unveiled at the recent WWDC 2013 conference.
OS X Mavericks is in its beta development stage and currently available only to Apple developers to test and play with. Features of the new OS X Mavericks include enhanced iCloud integration, Finder enhancements as well as bringing more of Apple’s iOS features and tweaks to the OS X platform.
Unfortunately no information on pricing or worldwide availability has been released as yet, but as soon as information comes to light we will keep you updated as always.
