If you have an older Macbook or Macbook Pro the new firmware released from Apple will definitely be worth downloading and installing. As it fixes the problems with charging this devices using the latest Magsafe power adapters.
Reports from users that experienced the problems say that the newer MagSafe adapters failed to charge older MacBook and Macbook Pro computers at all.
MacBook SMC Firmware Update 1.4 for select 2007-2008 MacBook andMacBook Pro models was released yesterday. The update comes in at just 880KB and requires Mac OS X 10.5.8 or 10.6.4.
