If you are considering purchasing an Apple iPad Pro when they are made available in the coming months, you may be interested in a new Apple Pencil holder which has been designed and taken to Kickstarter to raise the required funds to go into production.
The Quarter has been specifically designed for the new Apple Pencil and connects to the iPad pro using the Lightning power connection. Jason Lim the creator of the Apple Pencil Quarter stylus holder explains more about its inspiration.
Everything started from an ideas, following with pencil sketching, 3D drawings and than prototyping. Through out the design stage, we printed out many prototypes for product testing. Our Ultimaker Original 3D printer had been serving us faithfully! All the functions are tested and measured accordingly.
Once we received the genuine iPad Pro and Apple Pencil, we will make a little adjustment on the dimensions and it is good to go. Our supplier is ready to fabricate a smaller mould to cater our initial small volumes. We should able to see the final samples as soon as we hit the goals.
Now you got your iPad Pro and Apple Pencil! Hmm…how do i carry them along by not missing the smaller ones? Fairly simple by connecting Quarter in to your charging port, then slide the Apple Pencil in. Worry not! It is tight enough to hold your Apple Pencil firmly. You may carry them with you on the go, or place it in your bag and withdraw them as ONE without hassle. Simple as that.Quarter elevate the way iPad Pro and Apple Pencil works together. They are now more connected than ever!
