According to a recent report by the Financial Times, Apple Music now have 10 million subscribers, the service launched just six months ago in June.
Apple Music costs $9.99 a month for a single subscription and $14.99 a month for a family subscription.
The company does not offer a free version of Apple Music, so all of those 10 million subscribers would be paid subscribers. When the service launched Apple offered a three month free trial of their music streaming service.
10 million subscribers is six months is pretty good for a new music streaming service, although Apple does have a lot of existing customers to market their new service to.
Spotify has around 20 million paid subscribers, it also offers a free version of its music streaming service which is supported by adverts.
It will be interesting to see how many subscribers Apple has for their music streaming service after 12 months of it being available.
