In an effort to help fix the problems that some Apple MacBook Air owners have been experiencing with their wireless connectivity.
Apple has this week started sending out email invitations for Apple MacBook Air owners to try a new wireless update that will hopefully correct connection issues being experienced, that drops the systems connection after around a minute after connection.
The new email invitations have been sent out to customers offering them to join the AppleSeed customer software seeding program to test the new MacBook Air WiFi Update 1.0 which Apple has created to fix the issue. Apple explains in the emails being sent out :
“You have been selected to join our AppleSeed program. If you accept, we will provide you with a pre-release version of the MacBookAir WiFi Update 1.0 to install and use.
While trying out MacBookAir WiFi Update 1.0, we ask that you provide us with your feedback. Our program includes a bug reporting system for our participants. If you wish to be a seed volunteer and help Apple release high-quality software, follow the instructions below.”
As the new Apple MacBook Air update Rolls out to owners we will keep you updated as reports come back as to whether the new update has fixed the dropping connections being experienced.
