Yesterday Apple announced the next generation MacBook Air, and there are now two different models to choose from which include an 11.6 inch model and a 13.3 inch model.
The smaller model of the two features an 11.6 inch LCD display with a resolution of 1366 x 768 pixels, processing comes from a choice of either a 1.4GHz Intel core 2 Duo processor or a 1.6GHz Intel Core 2 Duo processor, and 2GB of RAM as standard.
Storage is now in the form of flash storage, and you can choose from either 64GB or 128GB. The 11.6 inch MacBook Air also features 802.11n WiFi, Bluetooth 2.1+EDR, and NVIDIA GeForce 320M graphics with 256MB of DDR3 RAM.
Pricing starts at $999 and rise to $1,199 , there are also a number of custom options including up to 4GB of RAM and up to 128GB of solid state storage.
The 13.3 inch MacBook Air features a 13.3 inch display with a resolution of 1440 x 900 pixels, there is also a choice of Intel Core 2 Duo processors which include a 1.86GHz and 2.13GHz.
You can also choose up to 256GB of solid stat storage, and it has the same features as the 11.6 inch model, pricing on the 13.3 inch model starts at $1,299 and rises to $1,599.
