Some owners of Apple’s iPhone X smartphone have had issues with the display on their handset, the problems related to responsiveness of the touchscreen part of the display.
Apple has now launched a display replacement program for the handset that will fix the issues for people who are having the problem. Devices with the problem have part or all of the display that do not respond to touch.
Here is what Apple had to say about the issues:
Apple has determined that some iPhone X displays may experience touch issues due to a component that might fail on the display module. An affected device may exhibit the following:
- The display, or part of the display, does not respond or responds intermittently to touch
- The display reacts even though it was not touched
If you have experienced this problem with your iPhone X then you need to contact Apple support to arrange to get your device fixed.
