If you have been patiently waiting to get your hands on one of Apple’s [AAPL] shiny new tablets, The Apple iPad, then the wait is almost over as Apple will start taking pre-orders for their new device today at 8.30AM EST (5.30AM PST).
From today you will be able to pre-order a WiFi iPad which will ship on April the 3rd or a 3G iPad which will ship in late April.
The pre-orders are only in the US at the moment, there are still no details on the exact release date of the iPad for the UK and the rest of Europe.
It will be interesting to see how well the iPad does in pre-orders, will it be hugely popular and sell out straight away?
