Apple has announced the Apple iOS 7 release date, the latest version of Apple’s iOS 7 will ship on the 18th of September, and it comes with a range of new features and a complete new design.
Apple iOS 7 has a complete new design, that we first saw back at WWC a few months ago, all of the icons on the iPhone and iPad now have a complete new look and design.

iOS 7 will also come with a new range of ringtones, inline web searching, an updated photo app which looks very impressive from what we have seen so far.
New Features and Enhancements
Apple iOS 7 comes with a wide range of new features, including updated multitasking, improvements to Apple’s voice-activated virtual assistant Siri, and much more. The new multitasking feature allows apps to update in the background, ensuring that the latest information is always available when you open an app. This is a significant improvement over previous versions, where apps would only update when they were opened.
Siri has also received a major overhaul in iOS 7. The virtual assistant now has a more natural-sounding voice and can perform a wider range of tasks. For example, Siri can now control settings on your device, such as turning on Bluetooth or adjusting the brightness. Additionally, Siri can search Twitter, Wikipedia, and other sources for information, making it a more powerful tool for finding what you need quickly.
Design Overhaul
The design overhaul in iOS 7 is one of the most noticeable changes. Apple has moved away from the skeuomorphic design elements that characterized previous versions of iOS, opting instead for a flatter, more modern look. This new design is evident in everything from the icons to the typography. The color palette is also more vibrant, giving the entire operating system a fresh and contemporary feel.
The Control Center is another new feature in iOS 7 that enhances usability. By swiping up from the bottom of the screen, users can access a panel that provides quick access to commonly used settings and apps. This includes toggles for Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and Airplane Mode, as well as shortcuts to the flashlight, calculator, and camera. This makes it much easier to adjust settings on the fly without having to navigate through multiple menus.
The Notification Center has also been improved in iOS 7. It now includes a “Today” view that provides an overview of your day, including weather, calendar events, and reminders. This makes it easier to stay organized and keep track of important information.
Another notable feature is AirDrop, which allows users to share files with other iOS devices nearby. This feature uses Wi-Fi and Bluetooth to create a peer-to-peer connection, making it easy to share photos, documents, and other files without the need for an internet connection.
The updated photo app in iOS 7 is also worth mentioning. It includes new organizational features that make it easier to manage your photo library. Photos are now grouped by moments, based on the time and location they were taken. This makes it easier to find specific photos and relive memories. The app also includes new editing tools, allowing users to enhance their photos with just a few taps.
In addition to these features, iOS 7 includes a number of smaller enhancements that improve the overall user experience. For example, the App Store now features automatic updates, so you no longer have to manually update your apps. There are also new gestures for navigating the operating system, making it more intuitive to use.
Overall, iOS 7 represents a significant step forward for Apple’s mobile operating system. With its new design and range of new features, it offers a more modern and user-friendly experience. Whether you’re a long-time iOS user or new to the platform, there’s a lot to look forward to in this latest release.
