Last night or yesterday morning depending on your location Apple announced that their new Apple iOS 7 mobile operating system will be officially launching on September 18th 2013.
Apple also released the final Apple iOS 7 GM Seed software to developers allowing them to play with the final version of the operating system and make suer their applications work seamlessly ready for the mobile operating system launch later this month.
The new Apple iOS 7 operating system is a major update for iPhones and IOS devices and brings with it a completely re-designed user interface together with over 200 new features. Which include a Control Center and Notification Center, enhanced multitasking and application updates now take place in the background without the need to keep manually updating your apps.
“iOS 7 takes full advantage of technologies in iPhone, iPad and iPod touch to push the iOS experience further. Distinct and functional layers help create depth and establish hierarchy and order. The use of translucency provides a sense of context and place. And new approaches to animation and motion make even the simplest tasks more engaging.”
The GM version is now available for download via Apple’s developer portal as “Build 11A465”. Enjoy!
