In preparation for the launch of their new Apple iOS 7 mobile software to be rolled out in the next couple of months, Apple has today announced the launch of a new Apple iMessage spam reporting service.
Thats provides you with the opportunity to report spam iMessages directly to Apple using an email address :
imessage.spam@icloud.com
Apple suggests: “Look in the Messages conversation thread to determine if a message was sent via iMessage. Messages sent via iMessage are labeled as “iMessage” above the message in the text field. SMS and MMS type messages read “Text Message” instead.”
So if you are experiencing a unwanted splurge of iMessage spam you can now report the abusing sender directly to Apple, for more information jump over to the Apple website for details.
