Apple has filed for a new MagSafe trademark in Europe which is related to the Apple Watch and covers the new charger that is used on Apple’s smartwatch.
The Apple Watch MagSafe Trademark was filed with the European Trademark & Patent office yesterday with the patent number 013918834.
The patent covers the new MagSafe Apple Watch charger which has a different design to the MagSafe chargers that Apple uses on its notebooks, although their latest MacBook ditches MagSafe for USB-C.
The Apple Watch will be available to pre-order from tomorrow and people will be able to try the device out at Apple Stores in a number of countries.
Apple will launch the device on the 24th of April and prices for the new smartwatch start at $349 and go up to a m,massive $17,000.
