Apple has added a new section to its iTunes app store, this one is designed specifically for children and is called ‘Games for Kids’.
The new Games for Kids section can be found under the Kids section on the App Store, and it has been split into different age ranges.
You can choose from games for the under 5’s, games for kids aged 6-8 and games for kids aged 9-11, which should help parents find ages appropriate games for their children more easily.
Apple has also launched a free book in this new section called ‘Family Time with Apps, the book is apparently designed to help parents understand how apps can help children development.
You can find the new Games for Kids categories in the Kids section on the iTunes app store.
