Google has announced that it will be bringing the Android Marshmallow update to Android Wear devices soon, the company has said that the updated will be released in the coming months.
They also revealed that one new Android Wear smartwatch is already running Android 6.0 Marshmallow, the new LG Watch Urbane 2 which was announced recently.
The Android Marshmallow update will bring a range of new features to Google’s Android Wear smart watches, this will include a new permissions model and also support for external speakers, plus support for the new Intel x86 chip which is used in the Tag Heuer Connected smartwatch.
As yet there are no details on when the update will be released to various Android Wear devices, it may depend on individual manufacturers.
As soon as we get some more details on when the udpate will be released and which devices will be getting it, we will let you guys know.
