The innovative South Korea company SK Telecom have created a prototype SIM card like no other. The tiny SIM includes a processor, memory, 1 GB of flash storage and incorporates the Google Android operating system as well. Check out the video after the jump.
The SIM card has been designed to carry everything a user might need including applications and data so your complete desktop can be easily transferred between devices. The card communicates to the device through a USB 2.0 interface.
SK Telecom does not intend to bring this version to market, but I’m sure it wont be long before something similar hits our streets.
