Google has announced that it has started rolling out the Android 4.0.4 update to multiple devices, which include the GSM Nexus S, the Xoom WiFi and the HSPA+ Galaxy Nexus.
They have also confirmed that the Android 4.0.4 update will be rolled out to other devices over the ‘coming weeks’ although no specific dates or devices were mentioned.
We’ve started rolling out Android 4.0.4, Ice Cream Sandwich, to UMTS/GSM Nexus S, Xoom Wi-Fi, and HSPA+ Galaxy Nexus devices, and we’ll be rolling it out to more devices in the coming weeks. Some of you will be receiving Ice Cream Sandwich for the first time, while others will be receiving an update to your existing Ice Cream Sandwich experience.
The Android 4.0.4 update brings a number of bug fixes and new features to Android devices, which include a number of stability improvements, improved camera performance, and more.
