Mazda has unveiled its all-new Mazda3 at the LA Auto Show and the fully redesigned model is a global car. The first market to get it will be North America in early 2019. Mazda says that the car has a “matured Kodo” design language, and it is a very nice looking car.
They share the same name, but the hatchback and sedan models have different “personalities” with Mazda saying the hatchback is “emotive” and the sedan is “elegant.” Both have the new Skyactiv-Vehicle Architecture and will include the latest Skyactiv-X, Skyactiv-G, and Skyactiv-D engines.
Mazda isn’t offering any hard specs for the engine at this time. Pricing details and available options are unannounced. “The all-new Mazda3 we unveil today begins a new era for Mazda,” said Akira Marumoto, Mazda’s Representative Director, President and CEO. “The next generation of Mazda cars will enhance the value of the car-ownership experience. Though these products, we will further raise Mazda’s brand value and work towards our goal of building strong bonds with customers all over the world.”
