Obviously this cannot be used with the latest smartphones unless an adapter is used due to the removal of the 3.5 mm headphone jack by Apple on its latest smartphone devices. The smartphone metal detector differentiates between various kinds of metals and is pre-programmed for precise detection of Gold and Silver. Two versions of the compact metal detector are available either in the standard CSP86 or the waterproofed version in the form of the CSP86+.
“CSP86+,with 20cm diameter coil, is a super compact professional waterproof metal detector. It is much lighter than any metal detector in the market. It is an advanced ULF/VLF simultaneous multi-frequency metal detector with auto-ground balancing, discrimination, and GPS. CSP86+ is calibrated and pre-programmed for the best performance in saltwater.”
