Ahead of this years National Association of Broadcasters (NAB 2017) show Akitio has unveiled new Thunderbolt 3 Devices it is planning to launch sometime during 2017.
In the form of a long PCIe box, a Thunderbolt3 10G Network Adapter, a Thunderbolt3 docking station as well as revised versions of their popular Thunderbolt3 storage products.
The new products will be compatible with both Windows and the new 2016 MacBook Pro systems. Richard Wright, VP of Sales & Marketing for Akitio explains :

We were proud to deliver the industry’s first Thunderbolt3 external storage devices and we will continue to develop new and exciting products to meet the gaming, virtual reality, post production and professional needs of our customers.
Unfortunately, no detailed specifications have been released as yet by Akitio, but as soon as information comes to light during NAB 2017 we will keep you updated as always.
