3D printer manufacture Afinia has this week announced the upcoming launch of their new desktop 3D scanner in the form of the Afinia ES360 which has been created to compliment the companies new H800 3D printer, see the video below for more details.
The Afinia 3D printer is currently in the process of preparing to start shipping to customer that have pre-ordered the system, but unfortunately at the current time Afinia have not announced any pricing for the ES360 tabletop 3D Scanner.
Features of the Afinia ES360 3D scanner include an accuracy of ≤0.1mm and the system is equipped with two scanning modes in the form of an automatic scan, that is capable of scanning to a size of 215 x 215 x 200mm. Together with a free scan mode, that is capable of scanning volumes of up to 700 x 700 x 700mm in size.
The new Afinia H800 3D Printer has a 10x8x8 inch build area and includes a HEPA air filtration system, fully-automated platform leveling and height sensing, and ultra-fine 100-micron print solution, plus much more.
