PC World in the UK has this week unveiled a new tablet they have started selling under the Advent brand which offers customers a 7 inch Android tablet for £180, in the form of the Advent Vega Tegra Note which seems to be Nvidia’s Tegra Note tablet sporting an advent logo.
The Advent Vega Tegra Note 7 is equipped with a 7 inch IPS LCD multi-touch display sporting a resolution of 1280 x 800 and 215dpi and is powered by a Nvidia Tegra 4 quad-core processor supported by 1GB of RAM.
Running Google’s latest Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean operating system the Advent Vega Tegra Note is equipped with 16GB of internal memory and its graphics are handled by an integrated 72 Core Geforce GPU.
Other features include Bluetooth 4.0 and 802.11 b/g/n wireless connectivity together with a microUSB port and micro HDMI connection. Its also fitted with a 2 megapixel front facing camera for video calling, together with a 5 megapixel rear facing for video and photographs and measures 120 x 190 x 9.4 mm in size.
The Advent Vega Tegra Note 7 also comes supplied with a DirectStylus Pen, offering a natural writing experience and can be used for taking notes, annotating documents as well as sketching and drawing. Pc World explains:
“This clever stylus makes it easy to draw on your display, working combination with the touchscreen to provide a brilliantly responsive and accurate experience.”
