Last week we heard that Google had removed Adblock Fast from the Google Play Store, the app was designed to work with Samsung’s browser on Galaxy devices.
This one of the first apps that lets you block adverts on Samsung’s mobile browser on their Galaxy devices and Google originally removed it because they said it violated their terms and conditions.
The developers of the app appealed to Google’s decision to remove the app and it has now been returned to the Google Play Store.
Last Monday, though, Google rejected an app update we submitted. Last Tuesday, they removed Adblock Fast from the Play store altogether (which 80 more English-language articles covered).
We submitted an appeal on the Monday our update was rejected and we’re happy to report that Google has reversed their decision, both accepting our appeal in an email sent to us on Friday evening and approving and republishing Adblock Fast by the time we woke up this morning.
