Following on from the move by Atman Binstock and Michael Abrash who have both left Valve to join the Oculus VR team and developers of the awesome Oculus Rift virtual reality headset, that was just purchased by Facebook for $2 billion.
Developer Aaron Nicholls is the latest Valve employee to make the move from Valve to Facebook’s Oculus Rift team, which was announced via a Twitter message this week, after four years working on virtual reality at Valve.
“We’re thrilled to welcome Aaron Nicholls to the team!”-“He’ll be working out of the Bellevue R&D lab with Atman and crew.”
The announcement comes just days after Valve developer Michael Abrash announced that he too was leaving for Oculus VR. I wonder how many more Valve employees will be tempted to ale the move to Facebook.
