Microsoft have commissioned the Aria Group who specialise in created replica cars for Hollywood movies to create a new Halo Warthog vehicle as used in the newly released Halo game created by 343 Industries.
Its not the first time Microsoft has commissioned a Warthog to be made and a few years ago asked special effects company WETA to create and build a fully working replica Warthog vehicle from the Halo universe.
The new Halo Warthog created by the Aria Group is packed with details and measures an impressive 8 feet tall, 8 feet wide and more than 17 feet long, and is equipped with 49 inch tyres.
The new Halo Warthog is based on the chassis of a Hummer H1, and was commissioned by 343 Industries, a subsidiary of Microsoft responsible for making the Halo 4 game. “We really just wanted to build something that people could literally see and touch and reach out and enjoy,” said Frank O’Connor, franchise development director at 343.
