Toyota has pulled the wraps off the 2020 Land Cruiser Heritage Edition SUV that is meant to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the model. The Heritage Edition gets an exclusive design and more functionality and will be seen at the Chicago Auto show for the first time. The vehicle will be produced in a limited edition of 1,200 units and will go on sale late this summer.
Toyota is mum on pricing for now saying it will be announced closer to launch. The Heritage Edition is offered as a two row SUV only for maximum cargo space. It comes in Midnight Black Metallic or Blizzard Pearl colors with a black-accented grille.
The ride rolls on bronze BBS wheels in 18 x 8.0 made of forged aluminum. The Heritage Edition lacks the running boards and chrome lower side moldings of the standard Land Cruiser. Inside the vehicle has exclusive black leather-trimmed upholstery with a bronze contrast stitching inside. Power is from a 5.7L V8 and 8-speed automatic transmission.
