We already know the Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 is meant for the race track. If the normal ZL1 isn’t track ready enough for you, you can opt for the 2018 Camaro ZL1 1LE version that gets even more track ready bits. The car has special aero, adjustable suspension and special tires all for more performance on the track.
The tires are Goodyear Eagle F1 Supercar 3R summer tires. The new aero bits include a carbon fiber rear wing, air deflector and dive planes on the front fascia for more downforce. The suspension uses Multimatic DSSV dampers from an rear and the front end ride height is adjustable. The car comes with special adjustable camber plates and the rear stabilizer is adjustable.
The wheels are lightweight forged aluminum, and are an inch smaller in diameter front and rear to help deliver max grip of 1.10g. The Camaro ZL1 1LE will go on sale later this year and pricing will be announced closer to launch.
