Mazda has announced the price of the non-Launch Edition of the sweet looking 2017 MX-5 RF. That Launch Edition of the car started at $33,850 and was limited to only 1000 units. You needed a special invitation from Mazda to purchase that Launch Edition as well. Now the pricing for the normal MX-5 RF has been announced and it will start at about $1500 less than the Launch Edition.
The starting price of the RF will be $32,390 including the $835 destination fee. The normal RF will come in Club or Grand Touring trim levels. The RF Club starts at $32,390 for a 6-speed manual or $33,120 with the automatic. If you opt for the manual version, you can also add Brembo brakes and BBS wheels for another $3400.
The RF Grand touring starts at $33,455 for manual or $34,660 for the automatic. You can get hands free keyless entry on all RF models for $130. Premium paint options include soul red metallic and the machine gray metallic the Launch Edition comes with for another $300 each. All versions of the MX-5 come with blind-spot monitoring and rear-cross traffic alert.
