Expected Features and Upgrades
As yet, there are no details on what hardware upgrades the 2015 Moto X smartphone will get. However, based on the trends and advancements in smartphone technology, we can speculate on some potential features. The 2014 Moto X came with a 5.2-inch AMOLED display, a Snapdragon 801 processor, and a 13-megapixel camera. For the 2015 model, we might expect a larger display, possibly around 5.5 inches, with a higher resolution to compete with other flagship devices.
In terms of processing power, the 2015 Moto X could feature the latest Snapdragon 810 or even the upcoming Snapdragon 820 processor, coupled with 3GB or 4GB of RAM. This would ensure smoother performance and better multitasking capabilities. Additionally, we might see improvements in the camera department, with a higher megapixel count and enhanced low-light performance.
Software and User Experience
Motorola has always been known for providing a near-stock Android experience, and the 2015 Moto X is expected to continue this trend. The device will likely ship with the latest version of Android, possibly Android 6.0 Marshmallow, offering users a clean and responsive interface with minimal bloatware.
One of the standout features of the Moto X series has been its customization options through Moto Maker. Users can choose from a variety of materials, colors, and finishes to create a device that reflects their personal style. We can expect Motorola to expand these options further, possibly introducing new materials like metal or ceramic.
Another area where the Moto X has excelled is in its unique software features, such as Moto Display and Moto Voice. These features provide users with quick access to notifications and hands-free control of their device. The 2015 Moto X could see enhancements to these features, making them even more intuitive and useful.
As soon as we get some more details about the device, we will let you guys know.
