Runners searching for a way to improve their performance and times or those looking to get started may be interested in a new smart personal running coach aptly named the 1Coach. Designed to provide assistance using audio coaching by assessing your training and runs as well as providing customised reports and scientific metrics the 1Coach personal running coach has this week launched via Kickstarter.
Watch the demonstration video below to learn more about the technology, features and functionality of the 1Coach device which comes complete with its own smartphone companion application that is supported by both iOS and Android devices. “Running is believed to be the killer workout since it benefits most major muscles of your body, and improves your mental wellbeing as a result. However, with the wrong technique you might end up doing more harm than good to your body.”
1Coach is equipped with AI-powered biomechanical algorithm to process data from multiple 9-axis inertial sensors for real-time analysis of human joint form and function in running, including the distribution of the magnitude and direction of instantaneous forces on the joint. “With biomechanical expertise and individual advice, runners’ lab has been helping both amateur runners and professional athletes to improve your athletic performance and thereby avoids sports injuries with professional advice.”
