The new Pininfarina Battista was made official last month, the car will come with a massive 1,900 horsepower and now we get to have a look at the car in a new video.
The video below from Top Gear gives us a look at the design of the new Pininfarina Battista, it certainly looks impressive.
Performance and Specifications
The Battista boasts a 0 to 62 miles per hour time of under two seconds, making it one of the fastest accelerating cars in the world. This incredible acceleration is due to its four electric motors, one for each wheel, which together produce a staggering 1,900 horsepower and 2,300 Nm of torque. The car is capable of reaching 186 miles per hour in just 12 seconds, and it will have a top speed of over 250 miles per hour. These figures place the Battista in the hypercar category, competing with the likes of the Bugatti Chiron and the Rimac C_Two.
The car’s battery pack, supplied by Rimac, has a capacity of 120 kWh, providing an estimated range of around 280 miles on a single charge. This is quite impressive for a car with such high performance capabilities. The Battista also features advanced aerodynamics, with active rear wings and diffusers to enhance stability and handling at high speeds.
Design and Features
The design of the Pininfarina Battista is a testament to the brand’s heritage and expertise in crafting beautiful automobiles. The car features a sleek, aerodynamic body with flowing lines and an aggressive stance. The front end is characterized by sharp LED headlights and a low, wide grille, while the rear end features a distinctive light bar that spans the width of the car.
Inside, the Battista offers a luxurious and futuristic cabin, with high-quality materials and advanced technology. The driver-focused cockpit includes a digital instrument cluster, a large infotainment screen, and a minimalist dashboard design. The seats are upholstered in premium leather and Alcantara, providing both comfort and support during spirited driving.
In addition to its performance and design, the Battista also comes with a host of advanced features and technologies. These include adaptive suspension, torque vectoring, and a sophisticated traction control system to ensure optimal handling and stability. The car also offers multiple driving modes, allowing the driver to tailor the car’s performance characteristics to their preferences.
The Pininfarina Battista is not just a showcase of cutting-edge technology and performance; it is also a statement of sustainability. As an all-electric hypercar, it produces zero emissions, making it an environmentally friendly alternative to traditional internal combustion engine supercars.
The Battista is set to be a limited production model, with only 150 units planned for production. Each car will be hand-built at Pininfarina’s facility in Cambiano, Italy, ensuring the highest levels of craftsmanship and attention to detail. The exclusivity and bespoke nature of the Battista make it a highly desirable collector’s item for automotive enthusiasts.
