The latest photos of the Samsung Galaxy S8 give us a better look at the front and sides of the handset showing its design.
Design and Display
The Samsung Galaxy S8 is expected to feature a sleek and modern design, continuing Samsung’s tradition of high-quality aesthetics. The photos reveal a nearly bezel-less display, which is likely to be one of the key selling points of the device. The front of the handset is dominated by the screen, with minimal borders, providing an immersive viewing experience. The sides of the device appear to be curved, similar to the Galaxy S7 Edge, which adds to the premium feel of the phone.
There are expected to be two versions of the handset, the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 Plus. Both models are rumored to feature a Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 2960 x 1440 pixels, ensuring vibrant colors and deep blacks. The Galaxy S8 is expected to have a 5.8-inch display, while the Galaxy S8 Plus may come with a larger 6.2-inch display, catering to users who prefer bigger screens for media consumption and productivity.

Performance and Hardware
Under the hood, the Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus are rumored to be powered by the new Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor, which promises significant improvements in performance and energy efficiency compared to its predecessors. This processor is built on a 10nm process, allowing for better performance while consuming less power. Additionally, there may also be another version of the handset featuring Samsung’s own Exynos 9810 processor, which is expected to offer similar performance levels.
The Galaxy S8 is expected to come with 6GB of RAM, ensuring smooth multitasking and a seamless user experience. This is a significant upgrade from the 4GB of RAM found in the Galaxy S7, and it should help the device handle more demanding applications and games with ease. The handset will also come with Android Nougat out of the box, providing users with the latest features and improvements from Google.
In terms of storage, the Galaxy S8 is rumored to come with 64GB of internal storage, with the option to expand it further using a microSD card. This should provide ample space for users to store their apps, photos, and videos without worrying about running out of space.

Camera and Additional Features
The cameras on the Galaxy S8 are also expected to be updated, with rumors suggesting that the device will feature a 12-megapixel rear camera with improved low-light performance and faster autofocus. The front-facing camera is expected to be an 8-megapixel shooter, perfect for selfies and video calls. Samsung is known for its high-quality cameras, and the Galaxy S8 is likely to continue this trend, offering users excellent photo and video capabilities.
Other notable features of the Galaxy S8 may include an iris scanner for added security, a fingerprint sensor, and support for Samsung Pay. The device is also expected to come with a USB Type-C port for faster charging and data transfer, as well as a 3.5mm headphone jack, which is becoming increasingly rare in modern smartphones.
We will have more details about the new Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus when they are made official at Samsung’s press event on the 29th of March.
