Google has today rolled out a new update to its Chrome browser for Android devices. Bringing with it a number of new features including the ability to request the desktop version of a website from a mobile device, as well as support for an additional 30 languages.

Other features of the newly updated Chrome browser for Android now include the ability to make a bookmark shortcut on your home screen. As well as now being able to select which application you would like to launch from specially formatted links.
However to benefit from the latest Chrome update you will need to be running ICS. Even though Google’s latest Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich (ICS) operating system, has been out for over 6 month. Still only 3 percent of all Android devices are using the new operating system.
