Sony Xperia Z5 Compact was launched in the United States last month carrying a $499 price tag, alongside its big brother, the Xperia Z5.
Potential Xperia Z5 Compact customers have something to cheer about as it has received a $100 price cut in the US, bringing its price down to $399.
Amazon is selling the handset in the US carrying a $399.99 price tag and is available in both black and white color options. Best Buy is also offering the handset for a similar price tag, but the discount is only applicable on the black color variant.
The handset being sold comes with a US warranty and works with GSM carrier such as AT&T and T-Mobile so customers using the CDMA carriers are out of luck this time.
Sony Xperia Z5 Compact is a very capable handset boasting a 4.6-inch display sporting a resolution of 1280 by 720 pixels and a Snapdragon 810 processor under the hood. There’s 2GB of RAM, 32GB of internal storage, 23MP camera for photos and videos, 5.1MP front-facing camera, a 2,700 mAh battery and ships with Android 5.1.1 Lollipop.
The handset is also getting the latest Android 6.0 Marshmallow update, if that makes you feel any better on purchasing the handset.
