Xiaomi is reportedly working on a new flagship device dubbed as the Xiaomi Mi5. Rumors suggest that Xiaomi is waiting for the Snapdragon 820 processor to get official, and may launch the new flagship device in March carrying top-of-the-line specifications on board.
Recently, a new leak revealed most of the specifications the purported Xiaomi Mi5 is expected to bring at the table.
As per the new leaked information, the alleged handset will come with a 5.3-inch display sporting a resolution of 2,560 by 1,440 pixels and will come with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor paired with 4GB of RAM. The handset is also expected to boast 16GB/64GB of non-expandable storage, a USB-Type C connector, a 16MP camera with dual-LED flash for photos and videos and a massive 3,030 mAh battery to make sure you get enough juice for the handset.
On the software side, the alleged device will reportedly come with Android 5.1 Lollipop with MIUI 7 running on top of it. The handset is expected to carry a price tag under $400 which is quite good for a handset with such specifications. However, there’s no official word from the company about its existence so we’ll ask you to take it as a rumor.
We’ll update you if we get to hear anything more about the handset.
