Xiaomi Mi 5 was officially unveiled at the Mobile World Congress 2016 in Barcelona last month with top-of-the-line specifications on board. The handset is already available in the company’s home market China, but it’s expected to make an appearance in the Indian market too.
The company has sent out press invites for the launch of the Xiaomi Mi 5 for the Indian market on March 31st, Thursday.
The handset comes with a 5.15-inch display sporting a resolution of 1920 by 1080 pixels resolution and a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor. The 128GB variant comes with 4GB of RAM while the 32/64GB storage version comes with 3GB of RAM.
Other features include 16MP camera for photos and videos, 4MP front-facing camera, a 3,000 mAh battery and ships with Android 6.0 Marshmallow as its operating system out of the box.
There’s no word about the pricing for the Indian market, but it’s not going to be too high. We’ll update you as soon as the company launches the handset in India.
