The engineering details stay mostly out of sight. The motor is housed within the 10kg body, while the speaker system is tuned across a 45Hz–20kHz frequency range with distortion kept at or below 1%. For users, that translates into deeper bass, clearer dialogue, and more balanced audio without needing additional speakers taking up valuable room space.
Integrating a high-quality speaker system into a ceiling fan presents a unique acoustic challenge. Because the speakers are positioned overhead, sound needs to be carefully tuned to avoid uneven coverage and excessive reflections from walls and ceilings.
Traditional speakers are positioned at ear level or aimed toward a listening area. AirFi One takes a different approach, placing the audio source above the space and using onboard DSP technology to adjust sound performance for a ceiling-mounted environment.
The system compensates for ceiling reflections, helps widen the soundstage, and creates more even audio coverage throughout the room. Instead of sitting in one specific “sweet spot,” listeners can move around the space while still experiencing consistent sound.

Layered underneath sits an RGB system with six customizable modes that can lock to whatever’s playing. Used carelessly, that’s a gimmick.
