We all have a pretty good idea that T-Mobile is popular for sending out pre-orders a little earlier than the official availability date, but it seems Verizon is going to join the list as well.
According to a new report, Verizon Wireless is sending out Samsung Galaxy Note 7 units ahead of their official availability date, which is August 19th in the United States.
Several Verizon customers reported that they have received emails that their units have been shipped. The company has also emailed them the tracking numbers so they can track the location of their shipments. If it’s true, customers should receive their package a little ahead of the official availability date.
As a quick recap, Samsung Galaxy Note 7 ships with a 5.7-inch QHD display sporting a resolution of 2560 by 1440 pixels, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor paired with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. Other features includes a 3,500 mAh battery, 12MP camera for photos and videos, 5MP front-facing camera and ships with Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow out of the box.
Rumors suggest the handset will get Android 7.0 Nuogat in the coming weeks, we’ll update you if we hear anything in this regard.
