
Motorola and Verizon has sent out press invites for an event scheduled on July 14th in New York for launch of Moto Z Droid Edition and the Moto Mods which will come with it.
The handset was launched at Lenovo Tech World, but complete details about it weren’t revealed at the event, such as its pricing.
The handset brings top of the line specifications on board, including a 5.5-inch display sporting a resolution of 2560 by 1440 pixels resolution, as well as a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor paired with 4GB of RAM and 32/64GB of internal storage. There’s a microSD card slot on board which supports up to 2TB of expandable storage.
The handset also features a 13MP camera for photos and videos, a 5MP front-facing camera, a 2,600 mAh battery to make sure you don’t run out of juice and ships with Android 6.0 Marshmallow as its operating system out of the box. The device measures 153.3 x 75.3 x 5.19 mm and weighs only 136 grams so it’s pretty light to carry around with you.
