As expected, Verizon has finally kicked off the pre-orders of the much awaited BlackBerry Priv, which launched a few months back.
The handset comes with a whopping $720 price tag off-contract, or $30 a month for 24 month if you’re not into paying the full price of the device.
BlackBerry’s first Android phone is available for purchase online, but it’s likely that the smartphone will hit the retail shelves in stores as well. But, the question is: will it be a good hit especially after considering the fact that BlackBerry Priv was launched a few months back.
As a quick recap, the BlackBerry Priv ships with a 5.4-inch display sporting a resolution of 2560 by 1440 pixels, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 processor paired with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage on board. The handset also boasts an 18MP camera for photos and videos, a 3,410 mAh battery and ships with Android 5.1.1 Lollipop as its operating system.
