Recently, Twitter released an update for both iOS and Android, bringing several new features and enhancements to their mobile applications. The latest update brings a new design for both operating systems along with the ability to send and receive photos via direct messages.
The latest update provides quick access to direct messages and brings a refreshed look, allowing users to access Home, Activity and Discover tabs by swiping in timelines. For instance, swiping from left or right will switch between home, activity and discovery tabs. The updated Twitter application also brings improved notifications, allowing users to enable push notifications for specific people by tapping on the star on their profile. For Twitter for iOS, there are new in-app notifications whenever some likes your tweet, send you a DM and more.
