HTC announced officially that the Red HTC One will officially go on sale starting today and will be exclusively available on Sprint. The Red HTC will be available for sale on Sprint for $199.99 with a 2-year contract with the carrier.
This is not just the only deal Sprint is offering its users who are willing to purchase the red HTC One. It also comes with a buy one get one promotion meaning that if you buy HTC One for $199 on-contract, you will get the second HTC One completely free provided that you sign up for a 2-year contract on the second device. This offer will be available beginning August 16 until August 30.
The device also offers access to NextRadio FM Radio application that provides an all new radio experience. The application consumes almost three times less battery than other applications.
The Glamour Red color is only available on Sprint. We are kind of disappointed to see that Verizon is not offering the device in Blue color, something that we saw in a number of leaks from many sources. For Verizon, the device will go on sale in its original color starting August 22. Anyways, if you are planning on getting yourself HTC One in Red, take a thorough look at the deal Sprint is offering.
