Samsung is reportedly working on the successor of their fitness band, the Gear Fit, which was released last year, in addition to a set of wireless ear buds.
In a report, the popular Twitter leaker Evan Blass revealed some images of the alleged Gear Fit 2 as well as the Gear IconX wireless ear buds.
The complete specifications are not yet available, but some features of the Gear Fit 2 were revealed by the person testing the new devices from Samsung. Among the known features is a dedicated GPS chip which will improve the accuracy of the distance-tracking features offered by the wearable. Additionally, the 1.84-inch Super AMOLED device is more ergonomic and curved.
As for the wireless earbuds, they offer multiple functions and also acts as a fitness tracker in addition to a music player featuring 4GB of storage.
There’s no word from Samsung about the launch of the devices, but we’ll keep an eye on the news and update you if we get to hear anything more about the new Gear devices.
