As promised, Samsung has introduced the Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge in India at a press event held in New Delhi.
The variants launched in India are powered by the Exynos 8890 processor and 32GB of internal storage. The Galaxy S7 is priced at INR 48,900 while the Galaxy S7 edge is slightly costly and is priced at INR 56,900.
Pre-booking for both devices will start today until March 17th, and Samsung is also throwing in a free Gear VR for users who will pre-book their devices.
As a quick recap, the Galaxy S7 comes with a 5.1-inch display while the Galaxy S7 edge boasts a 5.5-inch display. Both handsets are equipped with Exynos 8890 processor paired with 4GB of RAM, 32GB of internal storage and a microSD card slot for users looking for extra storage. The handsets also boast a 12MP camera for photos and videos, a 5MP front-facing camera and ships with Android 6.0 Marshmallow pre-installed out of the box.
As far as the battery is concerned, the Galaxy S7 ships with a 3,000 mAh unit while its bigger sibling boasts a massive 3,600 mAh battery.
