Samsung’s Unpacked event for the launch of the Galaxy Note 7 is going to kick off in less than 24 hours, and the leaks continues to pop up.
Some images of the retail packaging of the Galaxy Note 7 along with the handset itself in gold color have popped up.
The leaked images shows the handset in all its glory in retail packaging which is similar to what we’ve seen in the past few weeks — it looks quite similar to the Galaxy S7 edge, just slightly bigger.
The handset will be official today, and rumors suggest that pre-orders will kick off on the same day, and it may be available as well. T-Mobile and Sprint are rumored to offer free goodies like the Gear Fit 2 smartwatch as well as a 256GB microSD card. Rumors suggest that the handset will go on sale in Europe on August 16th, but rather than guessing, it’s best we should wait for another few hours for Samsung to confirm all the details about the handset.
As for the specifications, the Galaxy Note 7 is expected to come with a dual-edge 5.7-inch display sporting a resolution of 2560 by 1440 pixels, Exynos/Snapdragon 821 processor paired with 6GB of RAM, 32GB of internal storage and Android Marshmallow 6.0.1 as its operating system. Other features include 12MP camera for photos and videos, 5MP front-facing camera and a 3,500 mAh battery.
