Earlier this month, Samsung introduced the Galaxy Note 7 at a press event. The handset is set to hit retail in the US on August 19th, while Europe gets it two weeks later on September 2nd.
If you’re based in India, there’s some good news for you. Samsung has introduced the Galaxy Note 7 in India carrying a INR 59,900 price tag.
The handset will go up for pre-order this month with the official availability kicking off from September 2nd. The handset will be available in black, gold, and silver color options.
Samsung Galaxy Note 7 comes with a 5.7-inch QHD display with the processing handled by an octa-core Exynos 8890 processor paired with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. The handset also ships with a 12MP camera for photos and videos, 5MP front-facing camera, a microSD card slot, a USB Type-C port, a 3,500 mAh battery and ships with Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow out of the box.
Additionally, the company also introduced the new Gear VR as well as the Gear IconX wireless earphones and Gear Fit 2 fitness tracker. The Gear VR costs The new Gear VR will cost INR 7,290 while customers pre-ordering the Note 7 will be able to get it for INR 1990. The Gear IconX is priced at INR 13,490 while the Gear Fit 2 costs INR 13,990.
