Samsung is reportedly working on yet another mid-range offering, the Galaxy A9, which was also spotted on benchmarking website lately.
Not too long ago, some accessories of the alleged Galaxy A9 with model number SM-A9000 have landed in India for testing and evaluation purposes.
Accessories include cover glass, the SIM tray, and the main board. This hints that Samsung Galaxy A9 is already in works, but it may take a little bit of time before the handset is officially available in the market. It may take a few months as Samsung recently launched the Galaxy A8 so it won’t be a sound move to launch its successor so early.
Details about the specifications of the alleged device are still scarce, but rumors suggest that Samsung Galaxy A9 will be equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 620 processor paired with 2GB of RAM and is expected to ship with Android 5.1.1 Lollipop as its operating system.
We’ll update you if we hear anything more about the alleged Samsung Galaxy A9, including its pricing and availability details.
